i've decided to nickname my finger gumby, cause that's what it looked like when i changed the bandage yesterday. when i went to borrow neosporin from my neighbor, who also quilts, she showed me her gumby finger to make me feel better about my general clumsiness. i'm not alone!! i'm not the sole klutz of the sewing world!
in other news, 45 squares down, 11 to go. queen size quilts are so time consuming...

i love the colors and patterns! it's going to be beautiful.
it is!! so so pretty :)
and how awesome that you have a neighbor who shares your hobby! (and lends you first aid items! awesome.)
Wow, that is beautiful!
I'm scared for you, what is it going to be next time?
I also have stopped trying to learn how to use my rotary blade because I can't get you out of my mind when I do it, Seriously though, I really don't know how to use those things, all the more reason to put it down
Oh, but I forgot the main reason for commenting: I used to have a great cd of gumby songs, wish I knew where that was, I got it at big lots, probably when it was still pic n save, for what ever reason me and stephen listened to it all the time

this NEVER happens to me, but the verification word below is one letter short of the word I was looking for to describe how I feel when I read about your accident: cring
the funny thing is that's where i got the title of my blog--i still remembered some of those gumby songs..."i'm not green and you're not green, but he is green and plasticine to boot..."
i seriously contemplated buying that cd the other day. ha ha.
haha! that is so funny! I had a feeling you might have remembered it, but then again, that was a looooong time ago :O)
how's your finger doing?
my finger is weirdly fine. both me and malcolm have mutant healing powers this week. his black eye is gone and all i have left on my finger is a tiny scab. it's so strange.
